An Iran Aseman Airlines 727 departs Tehran Mehrabad Airport as EP 602 for Mashhad.
One more trip to Mashhad, this time aboard a classic Boeing 727-228A that used to belong to Air France. This trip has been filled with unique experiences aboard classic aircraft and this adds another memorable flight to the bucket list.
This is one of the last chances to fly a passenger configured 727 in the world and this particular aircraft is still in great flying condition. There are still touches of Air France throughout the cabin.
For the outgoing flight I was seated in front of the wing, by a window with a view of aircraft on the apron at Mehrabad and also those parked in the northern areas of the airport – so I hope you enjoy the view and the experience!
